Admissions to Holy Cross

You Belong Here !

2013-2014 SCHOOL YEAR

Holy Cross is a community built on years of success – academic and athletic, spiritual and social, within our classrooms and out among our communities. Contributing to that success is a strong and vital sense of purpose that is shared by all of our students, faculty, and administration.

Students join the Holy Cross community by choice: they choose to take themselves seriously as students, and to respect the students and teachers with whom they share their experiences.

In addition, Holy Cross students choose to enter a true college preparatory environment, where class format, curriculum choices, and the infusion of technology into everyday learning mirror the challenges and opportunities that await each student on today’s college campuses.

A scholarship application packet will be sent to all accepted students who have a completed application package by the December 6, 2013 deadline.

If this sounds like the choice you’re ready to make, I encourage you to join us at Holy Cross.

Holy Cross is selective, yet recognizes its mission to serve a broad spectrum of students.  All eighth grade students applying to Holy Cross High School are required to take our Placement Exam.

The admissions decision is based on:

  • Elementary school test scores
  • Elementary school grades
  • Teacher or counselor recommendations
  • Placement Exam results

Holy Cross does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religious beliefs, national and/or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, scholarship and financial aid programs, athletic and/or school-administered programs.
