COUNSELING STAFF:
Mr. Steven Merkel ext. 3020 message link Mr. Merkel is Guidance Director and Chair of the Guidance Department. He counsels students in grades 10, 11 and 12 whose last names begin with the letters A through G. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Montclair State and a Master of Arts from Rowan University. Mr. Merkel is a certified counselor in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Ms. Jen Kelly ext. 3019 message link Ms. Kelly counsels students in grades 10, 11 and 12 whose last names begin with the letters H through Mc. She also serves as counselor to our special needs students. Ms. Kelly has a Bachelor of Science degree from Chestnut Hill College and a Master of Science from West Chester University. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor, a certified school counselor and a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania
Sr. Carolyn Mullen ext. 3018 message link Sr. Carolyn is the counselor for the freshman class. She has a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Science from Marywood. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor.
Mr. Eric Wilkinson ext. 3017 message link Mr. Wilkinson is the counselor for students in grades 10, 11 and 12 whose last names begin with the letters Me through Z. He has a Bachelor of Science from Penn State, a Master of Arts from Rider College (now University) and a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law. He is a certified counselor in New Jersey and New Hampshire.
Mr. Pat Mulvenna ext. 3021 message link Mr. Mulvenna is the Student Assistance Counselor for Holy Cross. Acting in a confidential setting as a consultant, he works with our students two days per week. He has a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers, a postgraduate Substance Awareness Certification from Rowan University. He is also a State Certified Social Worker and a State Certified Alcohol/Drug Counselor.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT: Mrs. Barbara Anstey ext. 3016 message link Mrs. Anstey serves as a vital link to our Guidance Department. In addition to her many other duties, she staffs the Guidance Office and Resource Center where she provides our students and parents with SAT and ACT registrations, working paper applications, FAFSA forms, NCAA forms, scholarship information and offers help in many other areas. |
